Supporting all cancer journeys
At the Trudy Crowley Foundation, we provide compassionate, free-of-charge support to people affected by all types of cancer. While we began with a strong focus on ovarian cancer, our services have naturally expanded to meet the needs of our community.
We work closely with individuals and families across the Mackay region, supporting them through every stage of their cancer journey – from diagnosis and treatment to recovery or palliative care. The cancers we most commonly assist with include:
Bowel cancer
Melanoma
Leukaemia
Liver cancer
Cervical cancer
Pancreatic cancer
Soficious cancer
Myeloma
Brain cancer
Breast cancer
Bladder cancer
Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
Prostate cancer
Thyroid cancer
Stomach cancer
Sarcoma (bone cancer)
These are some of the most frequently seen cancers in our region, but they are not the only ones we support. No matter the diagnosis, you are welcome here. Our team offers practical support, nursing care, emotional guidance and a safe space to connect – not only for patients but also for their families and carers.
